BioBausewein in Iphofen

Cozy dining room. Fine regional dishes. Great organic wines. A down-to-earth and knowledgeable family. Very pleasant and recommendable.

Very cozy and very personal wine bar. The food tastes very good and is homemade. The wine goes well with it and tastes just as good.

We happened to walk past the BioBausewein garden and stopped right there. As far as we have seen, it is the only way to sit "in the countryside" in the city center and the location on the city wall makes it very quiet and cozy.

The beautiful little vineyard opposite the hotel, together with the excellent wines, invites you to linger, relax or enjoy together. In my opinion, the Bauseweins do not "make" wine but rather "live" it, a coherent overall concept. The hotel has been lovingly furnished with lots of natural materials and extremely friendly operators - I am happy to be a guest here!

Restaurant has a small menu with Franconian cuisine but wine recommendations. The food was delicious, but unfortunately I was not full after a main course. The conditions were very nice and fast. The prices are a bit higher.

Clean and modern, but not anonymous. Bed comfortable and long enough, bathroom bright, shower high enough and plenty of water. Lounge area with guest refrigerator. Quiet location. Hotel parking around 100m away. Breakfast well prepared and detailed. Staff friendly. Is worth the money. Gladly again.

Rooms are very quiet, spacious and modern. Breakfast is excellent and the service very attentive.

We were traveling as a family with a stroller. The house looks from the outside very well maintained and newly renovated. The entrance would be pram and wheelchair accessible. What also made me curious was that the house got a lot of current awards. However, this wine bar is open from 18:00 clock! Thus, we could only rate it from the outside. Pity!
